This is a picture of a game I wrote for MatLab which recreates the minigame Chocobo Hot ‘n Cold from Final Fantasy 9. Yeah, yeah, so its not a proper drawn picture; I still think it’s pretty cool. Of all the engineering disciplines software is pretty definitely what I’m interested in the most haha. I wrote this game in a day, but unfortunately unless you have MatLab installed on your computer you can’t play it since it isn’t a compiled language (I can’t put all the files into an exe and send it out). However for those of you that do have it (or who are interested enough to load it up on the computers at uni) the files can be gotten here. The code is all commented and might even give you useful ideas for your own project/s if you’re into coding stuff.

Friday, September 3rd, 2010Guest Art: Saphy Remphaxi Queen

Lol fail. I forgot that not having a working scanner would mean I wouldn’t be able to scan in any pictures Monday night. -_-;
Stupid! Not even a little bit smart! xD I haven’t even been keeping up with my drawing properly. Fortunately for us Saphy steps in with another save.
This ‘ugly little thing’ is actually the huge Remphaxi Queen. Better known by outsiders as ‘factories,’ these beasts pump out infant remphaxi in large batches. Or something.
Who knows?
So I tried out StarCraft 2 for the first time today. Played for an hour; the first 3 campains. It seems pretty cool (go Jimmy go!), they haven’t totally muffed it at least. The first few campaigns were mind-numbingly easy on ‘normal’ difficulty though. xD Hopefully it ramps up a bit before my time is up. I might consider buying it when this guest pass expires (7 hours or 14 days, which ever comes first) though with me not spending nearly as much time on video games these days it almost seems like a waste. xD We’ll see.
Go go study study university students power!
Taking on GrassTown Temporary Upload
Wednesday, May 26th, 2010Okay so this clearly isn’t a very finished picture. It still needs to be inked and then hatched (yes this is more or less what my pictures tend to look like in rough pencil). But I figured it was too cruel to not put something up today when I said that I would; and I don’t have time to finish it tonight since I do need sleep this week haha.
This is a picture inspired by the game CaveStory. If you’ve never played it then you’re missing out; its a must-play for every reason I can think of that any game is good. Just click that link to the fansite that I nicely provided and you should be all set from there. ![]()
I’ll be back with more when I’ve finished this picture. I’ve done a bit more towards Dragon Rider Curran. Still nothing to show you guys yet of course but hopefully you’ll appreciate it when I start producing it proper. ^^
That’s all from me tonight. Until next time-
5 Great Indie Games, Pay What You Want
Friday, May 7th, 2010I am very seriously considering this. 5 days left at time of writing. I myself can vouch for the awesomeness of Aquaria and World of Goo for hours of enjoyment. Want something new, interesting and well made to play with in your spare time?
Unfortunately I haven’t been keeping up with drawing for a variety of reasons, but we may have some kind of remedy coming soon in the form of another author for the site.
More on that later, I have to get some sleep now. Laters guys.
