The Rat Hole

Okay so here it is (yes, one and a half hours late for those of you who were timing). Just managed it. XD I only started at about 11:45pm so its a bit of a rushed job. xO
I’m going off to camp tomorrow afternoon so you wont hear from me all weekend. I’m back Sunday evening though. I have some uni work that I should do that I still haven’t polished off… Gah. Next week has a few tests and an assignment due and the only thing I’m good for is Chinese! >.<;; Wish me luck.

Next update will be a guest piece by an all-new dual artist combination. I hope you all welcome them nicely.

Not much news for the week. I’ve managed to sort Anki out to a satisfactory level and have so far put about 3 chapters worth of Chinese vocabulary into it. I’ve gotta get around to putting in the rest of the stuff we’re supposed to know by now and then I’ll be all set to ace those tests. Pity it wont help me finish my assignments. -_-
I’ve started one of the assignments we have to do: biofuels. Fortunately there are bits of it that don’t seem so daunting; though one of the calculations has us picking a number out of a table and it’s a little unclear which number we have to use…
Guess I’ll just have to stick to it. I’ve got more than a little work to do and only one more week to do it. xD

Blooming heck animating with photoshop is a pain! But I think it’s worth it just to make this comic something cool.
On Friday I guarantee that you will be amazed. X-MM has yet again outdone himself (and all the rest of us plebs combined) with the latest masterpiece. But it wouldn’t be too good to tease you all too much so I’ll leave it there until then.

I managed to meet up with the Japan Activity Meeting (JAM woot!) Project club on Friday for my first ever outing with them and had some good fun. It’s rare for me to get so much exposure to spoken Japanese, and I’m a bit disappointed to say I’m more rusty than I thought; even getting aru and iru mixed up. -__-; And I’m sure I was by far the worst speaker there (even though only 5 of the 18 people were actually from Japan). At least they all speak English.
One of my new friends from that who is also doing engineering even helped me out with understanding one of the questions in our assignment; which was unfortunate as I’d already handed in my (wrong) answer. xD That’ll teach me to listen to those other guys (you know who you are! D:< ).
Oh well, it’s only out of 1% anyway. xD
