Woot, and it’s on time (just!). 
Here is the first picture I’ve drawn with the help of my mannequin Mokujin. You can see a photo of Mokujin posing next to this picture here (run Mokujin run!); and for those of you who are interested you can see what my drawing desk looks like too.
I think it turned out pretty cool. It’s non-inked; I just stuck with the pencil for this one, didn’t even bother fully erasing all the errant lines and stuff. But I like the result. 
I’m slowly climbing the ladder of artist-ry. Soon I might be as good as the real artists. ^^
Anyway I gotta go now so I’ll see you all on Friday.

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010Heh, yay for photoshop. Even a really low quality cellphone picture can turn into something that looks kinda cool. ^^ I may have to re-upload this one when we get a scanner ‘cos I’m kinda sad to see the hatching go; though I’d have to crop off that munted hand there at the bottom (which doesn’t look so bad with this sketchy look ^n^ now stop focusing on it or you’ll notice how bad it is).
I like the folds on this one; particularly on the sleeve at the bottom. A few strokes are a bit off on the torso but I think it’s pretty good. I’m getting better…slowly.
As predicted the matlab assignment posed no problem for me when I sat down and dedicated an afternoon to it; finishing it all up in about 6 hours total, maybe a bit more. This is good news particularly because the ProEngineer 3D CAD assignment is looking as daunting as ever. Man, design class is lame. xD And I still have to think of gifts for like 6 different people because its birthday season again (and Father’s day of course).
In unrelated news: You can now reach me at admin[at]therealm[dot]co. I finally set up The Realm emails and stuff. It’s pretty cool; I can make up to 50 inboxes, and I can receive from an unlimited number of addresses. Actually you could just as easily send an email to Hiro [at] TheRealm.co and I’d get it. ^n^ I also spent a fair bit of time coordinating all my different emails together to all pool into my one realm email service, so now I only have to visit one place and get everything from facebook updates to university emails. Yay for google making awesome stuff free.

Friday, August 20th, 2010The latest Final Fantasy 7 spin off hitting the shelves this summer! You may all think I’m crazy; but what if I know something you all don’t?
Yeah okay so maybe I am crazy. But this is cool if you’re looking for something techno-y to listen to.
I blame being tired and busy to the point of being on the verge of headache pretty much everyday. =.= Oh well; here y’all go. Lets hope next week’s four (FOUR!) tests aren’t too bad. xD

Yay this one turned out good. ^.^ Pity I still don’t have a scanner. I should really get around to getting a new one. xD Does anyone have suggestions for a good medium-home range scanner/colour printer? Nothing super expensive but not the cheapest one around… There are just so many options when I look. @.@ I ended up having to take a photo of it with my sister’s camera. xD
I called this girl Rin in one of my temporary saves; but the most popular name so far since then is Peach. What do you guys think; which is better?
Ahhh man, so much to do. I have tests and assignments coming up from all quarters (or is it quinters or something with 5 papers? XD ). I feel like I’m going to forget what I need to get done. >.<; I do know I have a Chinese Hanzi test today though. I hope it goes well; wish me luck!
I've put this picture as being collection-worthy but not super hardcore so I lowered it one dollar to $7 which conveniently puts me perfectly on the $50 mark of my bounty collecting. (That is, excluding any additions that would come from the expressions since the bounty for that wasn't specified (and could be nothing anyway)). Fun fun. ^-^v

I’m a little sad at the lack of response to last Tuesday’s post though. 
No one dares critique the work of Saphy? I’m sure you’re all just too scared or something; but I promise he wont bite…hard. *nods*
For the second two pictures in this set I went with trying to draw my old character Hiro some more. It’s still a real challenge to get his hair flick looking decent. >.<; Oh well, all in the name of practice right?
